Meet the Bros

Trajan and Octavian.

The whole eggery is run by two brothers who decided their allowance ought to come with feathers attached. They named the flock, built the run, and figured out cartons before they figured out long division.

Buy a dozen and you're not just getting good eggs — you're backing a couple of small entrepreneurs learning what it takes to run a real little business.

The Flock

Pasture-raised and spoiled rotten.

Our hens spend their days on grass, in sunshine, scratching for bugs and pecking at scraps from the kitchen. A varied diet and a good coop make for richer yolks and stronger shells — and you can taste it in the first crack.

  • Daily access to open pasture
  • Heritage breeds for richer yolks
  • No antibiotics, no hormones
  • Clean water and fresh bedding
